The Wide World of Colored Gemstones

Bi-color Tourmaline
It occurred to me that I haven’t mentioned that if you are looking for a specific gemstone and you don’t see it from the wide selection available at AfricaGems.com, ask and we will do our best to find it for you.

Tri-color Tourmaline
For example, a client was looking for a very specific look in a tri-color tourmaline.  She had checked out what I had on line which were bi-color and while what we had in stock were exceptional gemstones, they weren’t exactly what she was looking for.  So, I went on a hunt and located the gemstone shown on the right.  I emailed her a picture of it and said I thought it was a phenomenal gemstone.  She said she thought it might be the one and approved my sending it to her to check it out in person.  After all, gemstones can only be truly evaluated in person.  After she saw it in person, she knew it was exactly what she was looking for.   In fact it was better than she had expected we would be able to find.  By the way, our guarantee pledge covers gemstones we find for you and we cover shipping both ways.

Gold Gemstone Jewelry
Once she decided the gemstone was for her, we set about on designing the perfect setting for her beautiful new gemstone.   You can see the end result on the left.   That brings up another point, we at AfricaGems.com would be happy to help design a piece of jewelry for your new gemstone.   Check out to our July 20, 2009 blog for ideas about how to design a piece of jewelry.

Bottom line, if you don’t see what you are looking for on our website, please contact us and let us know what you are looking for.  We will do everything we can to assist you.  You can phone us at 888-566-9436 (KNOW-GEMS) or use our “Contact Us” form to let us know what you need.
